This Privacy Policy explains how Creator Store ("we", "us"), operated by Lugarawa Bookshop in Dodoma, Tanzania, collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Creator Store WhatsApp chatbot and the website https://creatorstores.xyz. By using the chatbot or website, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details: your WhatsApp phone number and the name shown on your WhatsApp profile or that you give us.
- Orders and payments: the books you buy, invoices, amounts, payment status and the mobile money network used.
- Chat data: messages you send to the chatbot, needed to process your requests.
- Author information: if you sell books with us, your author name, book details, prices and contact details.
- Technical data: server logs such as IP address, browser and access times when you visit the website.
2. How we use your information
- To show you books, process your orders and deliver purchased e-books in the chat.
- To confirm payments and send receipts and order updates.
- To provide customer support and fix technical problems.
- To pay authors for their sales.
3. WhatsApp messaging
- Opt-in: we only message people who contact our WhatsApp number first.
- What we send: replies to your requests, order, payment and delivery messages, and content you have subscribed to.
- Opt-out: reply STOP (or ACHA / UNSUBSCRIBE) at any time. We record your opt-out and stop sending you subscription content and updates. Reply START to receive them again. We may still reply to messages you send us.
- Messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by AzamPay using mobile money. The payment request is sent to your phone and you confirm it with your own PIN on your phone. We never see or store your mobile money PIN or card details. We keep only the transaction reference, amount, status and network.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Meta (WhatsApp): to send and receive chat messages.
- AzamPay and mobile money operators: to process payments.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: who run our servers and store our data.
- Authors: sales information needed to account for their books.
- Authorities: when required by law.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service, support customers and meet accounting obligations. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing nickyrabit@gmail.com from your email or by stating your WhatsApp number. We will respond within a reasonable time. Some transaction records may need to be kept where the law requires it.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
